Lowest Common Ancestor in a BST

Problem

Return the lowest common ancestor value of p and q in a BST.

Examples

Example 1
Input: {"tree":[6,2,8,0,4,7,9,null,null,3,5],"p":2,"q":8}
Output: 6
Example 2
Input: {"tree":[6,2,8,0,4,7,9],"p":0,"q":4}
Output: 2

Input and output use JSON-compatible values. For linked-list and tree questions, arrays represent the node structure as described above. Your code should implement solve(input).

How to solve Lowest Common Ancestor in a BST

Return the lowest common ancestor value of p and q in a BST. Use BST ordering to follow the branch containing both target values. The reference implementation illustrates this approach; check the example and edge cases.

Time and space complexity

O(h) time and O(1) space.
