How to use the JavaScript Compiler
Start with the sample code in the editor. Change a line, then select Run to execute or preview the code. If you are building HTML, you can turn on Live Preview to see updates automatically.
How does it run?
Sandboxed iframe. The compiler website is statically hosted. Code execution takes place in your browser, not on a Clearfunda execution server. Some languages first download a runtime from a public CDN, which requires internet access.
Try an example
Use the starting example to experiment safely. You can restore the original code with Reset, copy it, or download it for further work.
Important limitations
Browser runtimes differ from desktop compilers and may not support every package, operating-system API or framework. User code should be treated as untrusted; previews are sandboxed, but do not paste secrets, tokens or private credentials into an online playground. JavaScript code containing infinite loops may freeze its sandbox until the page is reloaded.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need an account?
No. Open the editor and begin using it without signing up.
Will the site upload my code?
The supplied editor does not send your code to a Clearfunda server. A few runtimes load third-party scripts or WebAssembly packages, and those requests disclose normal network metadata to the CDN provider.
Can I save my code?
Use the Download button to save a copy to your computer, or Copy to place it on the clipboard. V1 does not provide cloud storage or shared links.
