Pow(x, n) Using Fast Recursion

Problem

Compute x raised to an integer power n.

Examples

Example 1
Input: {"x":2,"n":10}
Output: 1024
Example 2
Input: {"x":2,"n":-2}
Output: 0.25

Input and output use JSON-compatible values. For linked-list and tree questions, arrays represent the node structure as described above. Your code should implement solve(input).

How to solve Pow(x, n) Using Fast Recursion

Compute x raised to an integer power n. Square the result for half the exponent. The reference implementation illustrates this approach; check the example and edge cases.

Time and space complexity

O(log |n|) time and O(log |n|) recursion stack.
