Cycle in a Directed Graph

Problem

Return true if a directed graph adjacency list contains a cycle.

Examples

Example 1
Input: [[1],[2],[0]]
Output: true
Example 2
Input: [[1],[]]
Output: false

Input and output use JSON-compatible values. For linked-list and tree questions, arrays represent the node structure as described above. Your code should implement solve(input).

How to solve Cycle in a Directed Graph

Return true if a directed graph adjacency list contains a cycle. Use three states: unseen, on the current recursion stack, finished. The reference implementation illustrates this approach; check the example and edge cases.

Time and space complexity

O(V+E) time and O(V) space.
